How I Work

The internet has a lot of junk; let’s make something memorable.
While we're at it, let’s make something easy for visitors to use.
And why not keep publishing and maintenance simple?

1. Listen

Listening to you is the most important part of the project. I want to hear about your goals and obstacles. I'd also like to hear what your customers are looking for and learn how they use your website.

2. Plan

Which objectives are the most important? Are there any that will also help make life easier for your customers? What’s the impact versus time required? Is there existing content or traffic to support the objectives?

3. Design

With a plan in hand I can brainstorm and sketch solutions. Working with sketches allows me to adapt as I get into the details. These sketches become wireframes. These wireframes will serve as the blueprint of the project.

4. Build

As your project moves along I’ll share the results of each iteration with you. We can review the changes during this process, and when we reach the end. I like to use a safe staging environment for testing.

5. Deploy

When we’re sure everything is running smoothly it’s time to deploy. Deployment is followed by a healthy dose of testing and monitoring. This is the exciting step of watching customers react to the new changes.

6. Evaluate & Maintain

Are our changes paying off? Based off our feedback we may want to make additional improvements. I'll provide you with tools to be able to maintain your website without having to rely on me.
